Miracle-Gro Moisture Control Potting Mix for Container Plants

Miracle-Gro® Moisture Control® Potting Mix is a gardening product designed to protect your plants from both over and under watering. This potting mix feeds plants for up to 6 months and Grows Plants Twice As Big!® The exclusive AquaCoir® Formula in this potting mix absorbs up to 33% more water than basic potting soil that does not contain sphagnum peat moss, coir, and wetting agent.*

This potting mix works best with all types of outdoor container plants, including flowers, shrubs, vegetables, annuals, and perennials. To apply, select a pot with a drain hole and fill about 1/3 full with the potting mix. Loosen your plant's root ball and place it in the pot. Add more mix and press in lightly. Water your plant and let it drain. Let the mix dry to the touch between waterings.

To avoid soil compaction and replenish nutrients, container plants should be repotted annually. It is recommended to wear gardening gloves when using this or other planting materials.

One 16 qt. bag of Miracle-Gro® Moisture Control® Potting Mix can fill one 12-inch container, though the exact amount may vary depending on the size of the root ball.
