The Yilotuce carnivorous plant soil mix is a hand-blended 60:40 mixture of sphagnum moss debris and perlite, completely natural with no additives. The sphagnum moss debris has an excellent water-holding capacity, maintaining the required moisture in the soil, while the perlite improves drainage and aeration in potting mixes, promoting strong root development.

The soil mix comes in a compact 8.4" x 5.9" x 3.1" brick, packed with 8 quarts of dried and fluffy sphagnum moss debris and perlite that have been manually compressed into small bricks.

The sphagnum moss debris and perlite in the mixture are carefully selected by hand. The sphagnum moss debris is dry, clean, and free of clods and other unnatural debris, with very few sticks (a natural product, and unavoidable). The perlite is also manually selected to remove dust and small particles.

The Yilotuce carnivorous plant soil mix is suitable not only for carnivorous plants, such as Venus flytraps, pitcher plants, and sundews, which require moisture retention, but also for growing seedlings, making it a perfect medium for rooting.

It's important to note that the product is purely hand-packed, so the weight and size of each package may vary slightly. Additionally, the perlite may produce a small amount of powder if it is squeezed during transportation.
